My beef isn't with the regular GM employee; these folks are just doing their job. Some import auto makers are building quality products right here in the United States, using American labor. The people on the GM assembly line are hard workers just trying to put food on the table, and my hat is off to them.
My beef is with the management at General Motors. They're the ones that ultimately decide what kind of quality goes into GM vehicles, and how their customers are treated. From what I've seen, the mangement at General Motors apparently decided to cut corners to the point that the vehicles being produced just don't last. That's just wrong. Apparently, to GM management, the bottom line is king and the customer is just an afterthought... Look where it's gotten them.
